Celebrate Spring with Parisian Song
Judith Charron is an eclectic soprano-songwriter born in Paris. Both her parents being professional musicians, her musical training came naturally from a very young age. She studied the piano. And after having completed a Master’s degree in French Literature in Paris, she joined the Conservatoire National Regional of Paris and their Young Singers Programme directed by Laurence Equilbey where she graduated. Now based in London, she's receiving regular singing classes from Amanda Roocroft.
Her recent lyrical projects include Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas (London) and Susanna in Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro in France (Palace Opera) as well as Handel’s Messiah in the Opera Comique in Paris, Schubert’s Mass in G and the Mozart’s Requiem in Paris. In Hastings, she has sung Barbarina in Mozart's Nozze di Figaro with Marcio da Silva and sung last year Amore in Monteverdi’s Incoronazione di Poppeawith Barefoot Opera. Judith is also involved in songwriting. She has just released her first album “In heaven’s river” of songs she co-wrote and recorded with Benjamin Kahn.
