Young Artists Tour 2019
Audition dates: Friday 1 & Sat 2 February 2019
Barefoot Opera Young Artists Tour is an advanced training programme well-known for its strong production values and demanding, genuinely educational rehearsal structure. This year’s tour will be a new production of THE BARBER OF SEVILLE
Singers and instrumentalists work as an ensemble team. The opera is fully staged and costumed, and sung in Italian. Musical direction is by Lesley-Anne Sammons and staging is by Jenny Miller, founder of Barefoot Opera. To see their biographies click on their names.
This is a 10 day non-residential course for advanced singers working to develop their solo careers in the profession.
Starting from Monday Sept 16th at Barefoot Studio, Brockley, London, SE4
There will be 10 days of rehearsals in London, either afternoons and evenings or all day depending on availability.
All characters will be fully subsidised by patrons of Barefoot Opera to rehearse this tour. However singers must find own transportation costs to venues.
